Boston at Xmas time

Good new, first win at sim game.Bad new, 2 loses at sim games.Good new, 1 wit at human home match.Bad new, anther loose at human visitor match. There is no good news without bad news beside, the team is playing well as human, but at sim, only 1 win in 7 games, so that the team stay at 14th in the Eastern Conference, so far from the objetive of the team. Putting Willie Green at Starting PG, gives the team 13 points and 7 assists, but Armstrong from the bench nly could give to the team 6 points.

Raja Bell scored 21 points per game this week, and Eddy Curry added another double double week to his statistics, but still there are many defensive problems, only an average 6 steals per game ... to low for a team who aren´t able to score more than 92 points per game. Now we are at the Christmash hollyday time, the players will stay with their families, and will study the new strategy game for the future games. Maybe Anthony Johnson come back from his injury, and Robert Horry will help the team at the PF position, and Keith Bogans will help at the SG position from the bench ...

We´ll know it in a few days, 3 home games and 1 away game against Memphis, maybe a jump in the standings? Charlotte and Cleveland will be a important measure of the level of the team. Another week, three straight weeks, Eddy Curry is the best player of the team, Celt's GM are thinking to make a monument to this guy..

3 human wins

All the teams are greating with his sim wins, but Boston is greating with his human wins, becouse last year more than 8 games was losed in Boston at Human, so that, this year, three games and three wins, is a very good result at the moment. The team make a deal to take a PG, but Anthony Johnson was unable to play this week, so that, the starting G position is for Willie Green, with Darrell Armstrong at the back up. Andrea Bargnani come back to the starting five, with Bell, Granger and Curry. This week, three sim games, we'll look if the team has got the level to play this league.

Bowen gives the team fresh air

Bowen comes from San Antonio in exchange of Jumaine Jones and Willie Green, and he found a team with many defensive problems, but at this moment began the first good moments of the team, with 5 wins and 4 loses in 9 games.

Week 6 The worst team in the league

all the things thatRivers is using to develop the team was in the wrong direction. He puts Bargnani in the bench, the team still loosing, he puts Granger in the bench, the team still loosing. Only one Sim win in 12 games. Now is amago who is finding the solution of the roblem. Maybe Rivers will be sacked? maybe some players will go out of the team? The rumours says that Green and Jones could fly to San Antonio in exchange Bruce Bowen, a good defender and 3P shooter. We'll see in the few weeks.

Week 2, two more loses

Another week with a loose balance, only one wins (in human game), and two loses.Bargnani was out with an injury, and the team must put Horry at the PF starting row.

What's up, Doc?

The Celt's spent the first week of the 2006/07 NLL seasson, with one win and 3 losses. We must say that the team loose away the three matches, but all the looses were very clear. The best player of the week was Eddy Curry, with an average in four matches of 17 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists, with a global valoration of 23.

Openning night at Boston vs. Atlanta

The seasson as home team will begin between Atlanta, one of the team of the Southeast league, and one of the team with the best PG rotation in the league, TJ Ford and Atkins. Again, the team has got Cuttino Mobley at SG and Juwan Howard and Nazr Mohamed playing inside the paint. A hard rival for Boston to begin the seasson.

Jumaine Jones landed Boston

The last movement in the free agency period of Boston, is Jumaine Jones, a small forward/power forward who can play both forward positions, becouse he has got size (6-9 and 220 lbs) to play inside, and he has got a huge outside shooting hability. He is a 4 years experience player in the NLL league, playing 315 matches, with 7.6 points per game, 3.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists, with 0.8 steals. His role in the team will be as back up of the small forward Danny Granger, or maybe the back up of Andrea Bargnani as power forward, becouse Devean George could play as small guard as well as small forward, and the posibilities are so high to make a lot of diferents teams during this year.
We are ready to saw his first photo as a Boston player, with the green t-shirt.

New faces to Boston

A lot of movements in the Boston headquarters during the first three weeks of the free agents period. In the Bsoton Celtics roster apperars new faces like Keith Bogans, John Salmons, Raja Bell, and there is a last minute trade operation that involved Detroit and Boston, with Araujo in exchange Alan Anderson, Darrell Armstrong and Willie Green.

Devean George re-sign with the Celt's

Finally, Devean George opted to sign an extension of his contract with the Boston Celtics, so that the player will play with the team for two more years, and he will receive about 4 million. George, a 4 years veteran in NLL, played in Boston two seassons, averaging 11,7 points per game, 2,7 rebounds and 2,4 assists, playing as small guard and small forward position.

On saturday 7th, Officially, training camp kicks offy, but on saturday the Boston Celtics introduced their players to the media. So that, here we can show the first photos of the team, with the new practice equipment, and we can see the nº4 draft pick election, Andrea Bargnani, with his new t-shirt.

Preseason Matches Ends

The preseasson ended with bad news from Boston, 1 win, 7 losses. A terrible problem for Doc Rivers to understand what's theproblem of the team. Attack? 94 points per game, Defence? 99 points per game. Maybe the problem was the rivals, 3 of the hughest teeams of the east coast, or maybe the problem is the global composition of the team.
The best player of the presseason period was Eddy Curry, with 13 points and 13 rebounds per game, with Raja Bell adding 18 points and Andrea Bargnani and Danny Granger another 12 oints. But ath Pont guard position, only Darrell Armstrong played well at Sim games (9 points).

Tony Delk goes to play to Greece

Another problem for amago in the roster composition for the 2006/07 league. Tony Delk, a historical player in Boston, opted to sign with Panathinaikos, so that he changed the green t-shirt for another green t-shirt in Europe. He will be the substitue of Vassilis Spanoulis in the PAO Roster. So that, the PG position in the Boston's roser is empty for the begining of the training camp next week, a big problem for the coach Doc Rivers.
