More than a month without news from Boston, yesterday, the GM amago appears at press release with a short words about the lottery draft. Amago says that "we are less happy than yesterday becouse we lost one step in the draft order, but this year the draft prospect says that there are at last 10 players who will be good nba players, and there ar two players that are going to be all stars. So we are going to review all the information that we have about the players who appears in the draft, and we are going to choose the best player for our team."

Celt's lost the run for the PO

In a horrible week, Boston Celtics lost the last opportunity to climb the PO positions, loosing three games at home with three direct opponents in the East. So that the interest in this moment for the team is to see the young players playing big minutes, and try to keep the good feeling of the last weeks.Andrea Bargnani will play the last week of the seasson, after his appendicectomy intervention, and maybe Steve Novak, at last will be starter in the seasson.

The new adquisition, Kevin Pickney, played good minutes this week. " he made his work in the fourth games that we need him, so that we are happy with this adquisition. "James Lang give us the opportunity to take Primoz Brezec, but we only traded his rights, becouse the player is playing in Europe, and we have got the rights for the next seasson" said amago in a press conference after the match against Detroit.

Bargnani will not be the ROY

Bad Luck appears in Boston. Andrea Bargnani suffered an apendicectomy last week and he will not come back to the team at last three weeks, so that last week was the last during this year. Maybe it will be a good moment to see the other rookie, but Novak stay out of the team again.The place in the starting five will be takken by Primoz Brezec, a newcomer in the team, but a player who looks very good for Doc Rivers. The problem is Robert Horry, maybe this will be his last year in the team, and he would like to say good-bye laying the last weeks of this league in the starting fiv. But Doc Rivers will keep Robert in the bench.Last week, Eddy Curry again was the best player of the team, scoring 15 points and grabbing 1 rebounds, with an incredible 62% at the field goal.

John Salmons, again at the starting point guard become the best shooter of the team with 21 points, 4 assists and 2 rebounds per game, another good week of this guy as starter, maybe Doc Rivers will not make another experiment with Bell as point guard. Raja Bell scored 17 points with a 40% at the 3 poin line. Bargnani, before the appendicectomy, made another good week, 11 points 8 rebounds, and from the bench, Anthony Johnson scored 11 points with 3 assists.The team is fighting with Charlotte, Orlando and New York for the 10th place in the East Conference, but Detroit, at 8th, appears so far from Boston to take a place in the play offs.

Lottery or PO team?

Next two weeks will put Boston in the good direction or the bad direction. "It's the moment to put all our efforts to win games and try to take a place in the pay offs." There are 5 games of diference with the 8place, and if we are able to make a pair of good weeks, we'll stay so close of this objetive." Said amago.

The bad news are the injury of Primoz Brezec and Malik Allen, that minorate the inside game of the team. So that the 2nd round rookie Steve Novak appears in the available list of the team, and maybe he will have minutes this week..

Bargnani Rookie of the Week

Boston has got a problem at the starting PG position. Is the week of the goodbye of Darrel Armstrong, a player who was signed to take the lead of the team as PG, but his activity during the year as starting PG was very bad for the team. So that Anthony Johnson was signed, and then John Salmons toke the PG, and now is Raja Bell the starting PG. Wich will be the next PG?

Maybe Andrea Bargnani, the impressive Rookie of the Week 12. In an incredible week Andrea helped the team to win two games and only lose one of them, a very good register. In other way, fimaly Primoz Brezec arrives Boston in exchange Armstrong and Aaron Williams. Armstrong played 32 matches, scoring 7.2 ppg, grabbing 0.6 rpg and assisting 2.1 apg. Williams played 12 matches, scoring 3.8 ppg and grabbing 3.7 rpg with a 63% of field goalds percentage.

"Yes, we know that we have got a problem at the starting point guard position, but our team has got one of the deepest benchs in the league, so that we was able to put four diferent players at this position. We began with Darrel, his attitude was superb, he was able to make one double double, but the medium level of the league in this position is very high, so that we had to sent Devean in exchange Anthony Johnson, a very good player, that became to play as the starting position. You know wich was the problem of Anthony. He was able to score, to assist, but he wasn't able to defend anything". Said Doc Rivers. "After Anthony, we tried with our 'joker-player', John Salmons, who is available to play from PG to SF. His attitude is incredible, he can score, he can assist, he can defend, but still the oppossite PG won the matches. Now we are playing with Raja, in the paper our starting small guard, but he is able to play at the PG position too. We hope that in the next year we could solve this problem and will make to play a player in his best position in the court, but this year we are going to play like we are playing now, a huge defence, playing fastbreaks, and hopping that Andrea and Eddy could make 40+25 to win the match".

Primoz Brezec says that "I'm very happy to stay in the team of Amago, a very good manager in Europe that now is using his knowledge of the game here in the NLL. I arrive to help the team in the inside game. I know that Curry and Bargnani are the starting inside players, but i'm going to work very hard to saw the trainer that I can play as starter". "Yes I know that there are many people who say that Andrea could play as small forward, and this could make me to stay in the starting five, but I don't know what are going to do Doc Rivers in the future".

Salmons out, Granger in

Another good week of Boston in the league. The guys is taking a good number of victorys in the last weeks, since the arrive of Bruce Bowen. The last week was the week of John Salmons, scoring 22.2 points per game, with 6.8 assists per game. But this numbers wasn't enought to keep Salmons in the starting five. A new starting five will be in the team during this week, with Raja Bell as starting point guard, and Bruce Bowen as small guard. Danny Granger appears as Small Forward, a place that this players had until arrived Bowen. In the inside places, Bargnani and Curry still are the starters.

"All the teams uses his best shooter as point guard, why not Boston can use Raja as Point Guard? Maybe wie will take one or two more wins than usual using Raja as stating point guard", said Doc Rivers. "Yes, I know that John Salmons is very ungry with me, he was making a very good job as starting point guard, but we must to think in the team, not only in our own careers."Last news says that Amago is talking with Washington to send Darrell Armstrong to the "Capital", in exchange of Primoz Brezec. Stay tuned to see if finally the deal will be done.

Looking for a new BIG THREE

2 wins and 1 lose this week. This is the second week in the year with positive balance, so that the team is very happy with this. Bell make the week of his life (31 points and 5 rebounds), but BArgnani make his worst week during the year (only 3 points per game).
At mid seasson, Celtics stay with 15 wins and 26 loses, but in sim games, only 5 wins and 18 loses. The future doesn´t look good for the team, but all the people say that they will be able to increase the number of wins in the 2005/06 seasson, a good sign of the good development of the team.

In the All Star Weekend, the team was very well represented with Andrea Bargnani and Danny Granger in the Rookie Sophomore match, And Eddy Curry in the All Star match. Andrea played as starter in the match, scoring 2 points and grabbing 8 rebounds. Granger played as starter too, scoring 10 points and grabbing 5 rebounds. At last in the All Star game, Curry was able to make the same that he is making during the seasson, a double double, with 14 points and 10 rebounds, winning the match for the West Conference.

The return of the losing symbol

Before two weeks of green symbols in the win-lose calendar, this week comes back the red mark. It was a very dificult week playing against the best teams in the west (Chicago and New Jersey), and the team needed to play very well to win this games. But Curry and friends wasn't able to won any of this games. Only against Seatle, at home, we could see good minutes.Bargnani makes his best week in the league, with an average 18.0 points of eficiency, but he wasn't the Rookie MVP of the week.

"Yes, Andrea take the lead in the paint last week without Eddy, and he is playing very well against players stronger than him", Doc said last night in an interview. "Playing against NJ, the team received 28 personal fouls, it was incredible to see that, the referees didn't respect us in this game, and the guys were very nervous this day, Curry only was able to take three shoots in the game, incredible".All the roumours says that Doc Rivers is living his last minutes as the trainer in Boston, "yes, I know that the team is playing very irregular this seasson, and I know that the general manager could be defrauded with us, but the technic staff and I are making our best efforts to increase the winning symbol during this year". "No, i´m not thinking in resign, I want to end this year training this guys, and in the summer we will speak with amago and we will see our future in the franchise."

Curry is back, all the team ready

During the last two weeks, Celtics appairs with positive balance of wins/losses (5/4) since arrived to the team Bruce Bowen, a fresh air explosion in the team. This week, with the handicap of Curry's injury, Boston was able to win Dallas at Home. Dallas is currrently the 5th team in the West. This week was the week of Raja Bell, scoring 23 points, grabbing 3 rebounds with 2 assists per game.In other way, the three nominates from Boston Celtics for the All Star Game are: - Eddy Curry 18.5 pts, 11.3 rebs, 1.7 assts (week 7 East MVP)- Raja Bell 18.6 pts, 3.5 rebs, 2.1 assts- Andrea Bargnani 9.3 pts, 8.0 rebs, 1.1 assts (3rd on ROY race)

Curry week 7 MVP, will be traded

The first week that the Celtics appears with a positive balance of win and loss (3-2), the team receive two news, one good new and one bad new about Eddy Curry, the good new is that Curry was selected as the best East player in the week 7 of the current seasson, and the bad new is that the same player, Curry, will be out of the courts during the next four games with a knee injury.

"It was a very special week for me. All the team played well and I had more space in the paint to make my game". "Rivers is making a good work with the roster and with the game plays, selecting the one's that help us". "Win two sim games will give us many strenght in the future, but I'm sorry becouse I couldn´t help my teammates now, i'm injured".
Since 1 year ago with Paul Pierce, any other Celtics player was near to be MVP in a week, but the last week, Curry played his best week as Celt, 21.8 points and 13.2 rebounds, with an efficency rating of 31.6 with a 66% of fieldgoals.

Two weeks after Pierce received this honour last year, he was traded to the west coast. We think that this will not be the future of Curry, becouse he has got a very high salary, but with Amago and his strange movements, we couldn´t know wich will happend in Boston. 20 different players stayed in Boston this seasson, and maybe the list will increase in the future.

This is the formula?

It could be possible that Boston find the way to play this seasson. Witha very phisical team, with the tallest PG of the league, and with to experimented defenders playing at Sg and SF. "Yes, it´s true that this is the best week of the seasson, but I don't know if the team will play as well as this week in the future." Amago says."The arrive of Bowen give us more intensity, more attitude at the defensive end, and another guy to take good decisions in the clutch moments".

"Before the arrive of Anthony Johnson, the team won 4 from 12 matches, with Anthony Johnson, we won 3 from 10 games, and now, with Bruce, we are 3 from 5 games, so that this is the first week with positive balance"."Many players are very happy with Bruce Bowen in the team. Bell isn't the only guy to defend, Granger haven't got the responsability to play as starting SF, and he's improving his game hability learning a lot of from Bowen, and Salmons takes the responsability to manage the team as the PG, and he's making his best minutes in the franchise." "Yes, we are very happy at this moment, but the next week we'll play against two division leaders, and it will be so hard". "And we loose our center ..."

It's time to defend

Two guys signed at the begin of the seasson, was traded to San Antonio in a long and very interesting negotiation with Leeroy, SAS General Manager. The interest in Bruce Bowen began when San Antonio difuse the rumour about Bruce Bowen would be out of the team. Amago spoke with Leeroy and gave him an interesting offer to allow Bruce Bowen arrive Boston. Amago says that "Doc Rivers is trying to find the way in the trainings and in the court to improve the team results, and the business staff could improve the team finding available players in other NLL teams, so that, Bruce Bowen was a very important oportunity to improve the team in the defensive way".

"Beno Udrih and Aaron Williams will help us at the back up of the team, becouse the league is so long and we need a lot of players ready to play, and Aaron and Beno could help us from he court". "But Bowen is going to help us from the begining, he is going to be the starting small forward of the team in the following matches, becouse we need to decrease the oposite scorers"."Yes, I know that Bruce is 35 years old, but I think that he could give us the intensity and the defending hability that our young guys need to develop, so that I told with Danny that stay so close to Bruce that he can, becouse he is going to learn a lot of things with Bruce. Bruce Bowen will be the mentor of Danny Granger in the team".

"Robert Horry is very happy with the signing of Bowen, becouse they was veryclose friends since many years ago, and we think that Robert would increase his intensity and his happines in the team".Willie Green played at Boston 25 matches (10 starters) scoring 7.9 and grabbing 1.4 rebounds, with 3 assist per game. Jumaine Jones played at Boston 25 matches, with 4 starters, scoring 5.9 points, grabbing 2.4 rebounds with 1 assist, and scoring 50% at three point shoots (he is the 11th player in the league at this cathegory). Walter Hermann didn't playany match with Boston, he arrives with Anthony Johnson from Minnesotta, and he always stayed in the Injury List.

Another week to forget

"I am going to be honest with you, I don't know what the hell we are doing on the court". Those were the words of Curry during a press release after the tenth lose in a sim game this seasson. "There are a lot of players that don't know what to do on the court". "I can't do everything on the paint, I need help from outside to open holes in the defence, and I need help in the inside game". Curry is sad about the future of the franchise... In the other hand was the press release of amago, the Boston Celtics GM.

"We are in a rut on the road, and we must stay together to solve the problem. I think that all we need is to increase our defensive hability, wee need that the rival don't score much than 90 points per game, becouse we are scoring a lot of points this seasson, and we have got a long bench.""We received a very good offer for Andrea and Danny, but all the technical staff and I think that this guys will bring up the franchise of the hole, and will help us to be a play off team. So that we rejected a very good offer for them".

This week there will be three away Sim games against Orlando, Miami and Sacramento, with Granger out of the starting five, and Bargnani again at the starting PF. If there are no changes with the new Andrew's Roster Patch, this will be another bad week for The Celts.

Boston is the same after Xmas break

The team again this week only won 1 human game, and lost 2 sim games. During all seasson, 9 sim games, and only one win ... Oden, you are our objetive ... or not ... There are changes this week with the day by day problem of Raja Bell, and Andrea Bargnani goes to the bench, and his position is taken by Danny Granger.

At SG and SF are going to play Willie Green and John Salmons, two players that the Boston GM Amago think that will inprove after the week 5 in the enhancement of the players ratings. This is a try to make a quickest team than before, putting Bargnani as the sub player of Eddy Curry.The good news of the week maybe is Anthony Johnson, that is playing his best matches at PG, but after week 5, maybe this player will lose a lot of rating points. The best player of the week is again Eddy Curry, with 19 points and 9 rebounds, and Anthony Johnson with 20 points and 5 assists.
